Frequently Asked Questions
-
A concierge doctor is a physician who provides personalized medical care through a membership-based practice. At our practice, patients become members, allowing us to care for a smaller number of individuals and dedicate more time and attention to each patient’s health.
-
A concierge membership includes benefits such as longer appointments, same- or next-day visits when needed, direct communication with your physician, and a more proactive approach to preventive care and wellness. Patients also benefit from a more personalized healthcare experience, with greater continuity of care and a stronger physician–patient relationship.
-
In most cases, health insurance does not cover the concierge membership fee. The fee is considered a payment for enhanced access and personalized services that fall outside of traditional insurance coverage.
At our practice, the membership fee supports services such as longer appointments, greater access to your physician, and a more personalized approach to care. Medical services such as office visits, laboratory tests, imaging, medications, and specialist care may still be billed to your health insurance according to your individual plan.
Patients are generally encouraged to maintain their health insurance to help cover services that fall outside the concierge membership, including hospital care, specialist visits, diagnostic testing, and prescriptions.
-
While health insurance is not required to become a member of our practice, we generally recommend that patients maintain health insurance coverage. Insurance can help cover services that fall outside of the concierge membership, such as hospital care, specialist visits, diagnostic testing, and medications.
The concierge membership fee supports the enhanced access and personalized care provided at our practice, including longer appointments, easier access to your physician, and a more proactive approach to preventive health. Insurance, when used, may still be billed for covered medical services depending on your individual plan.

Concierge medical practices vary in cost across the United States, with annual membership fees typically ranging from $1,200 to $20,000 per patient depending on the practice and level of service. Many practices charge a yearly retainer fee, and some also bill patients separately for office visits in addition to the membership.
At our practice, patients pay a membership fee that allows us to provide a higher level of personalized access and care. Medical services are billed to your health insurance when applicable, and patients are responsible for any co-pays, co-insurance, or deductibles required by their plan. Please contact our office to learn more about our membership fee structure.

Concierge medicine allows our practice to provide a more personalized and attentive approach to healthcare. By caring for a smaller number of patients, we are able to dedicate more time to each individual and focus on building strong, lasting physician–patient relationships.
Patients benefit from longer, unhurried appointments, easier access to their physician, and a more proactive approach to preventive care and wellness. This model also allows for same- or next-day visits when needed, improved communication, and greater continuity of care.
Our goal is to create a healthcare experience where patients feel heard, supported, and confident that their health is being managed with thoughtful attention and personalized care.
